Universal School App — School Registration Privacy Notice

Last updated: October 16, 2026. This notice applies to adult school applicants during controlled registration testing. Do not upload child records, government identification, or student medical information here.

What is collected

USA stores school name, curriculum and geographic location; applicant name, role, professional responsibilities, phone number, and the account email supplied through sign-in.

Why we collect it

To review school identity, verify applicant authority, maintain an application history, and prepare a school workspace after authorized approval.

Access and storage

Applications are stored in USA's Supabase database. Row-level access rules restrict private applications to the applicant and authorized USA platform operators. Website delivery uses Cloudflare Pages. Public visitors do not receive private applicant details.

Permissions

Application submission does not grant principal, teacher or student access. An authorized reviewer must verify schools and separately approve principal or staff permissions. No automated admissions or placement decisions are made.

Retention, corrections and deletion

USA is still establishing its production retention and privacy-request processes. Applicants should not submit sensitive student information during this stage. Requests to correct or remove an application must be addressed to the USA platform administrator through an established account channel. Data is not currently published as a public school directory without review.
